This tubing is made from the same material as Medela tubing. If you want to clean the tubing with Medela Micro-Steam Bags, please follow instructions that come with Micro-Steam Bags exactly. Failing to do so, you might have a chance to melt the tubing.
The membranes are more flexible for better suction power. They are compatible with Medela yellow valves and Maymom yellow valves.
